]]>We are reminded more than ever this year how important it is to be thankful for each day that passes by, so we wanted to make sure we thank everyone.
This COVID19 pandemic presented challenges during our attempts to open our new location for walk-ins in Auburn, CA. For our safety and our loved ones safety, we had no choice but to remain closed. So, first and foremost, we are thankful to everyone who have been patient with us.
Nothing in life is guaranteed, so appreciate what you have with those you love, and those who love you. For the ones we lost this year, there’s a void that’s irreplaceable, but we are so grateful to have been a part of your lives.
We appreciate the support from our customers, both near and far. Our returning patients, new patients and customers who have made purchases big and small, we are so thankful that you chose us.
We are thankful to the LRCCD for entrusting us to build their curriculum for the brand new optical technology program for 2021-2022. As of 2 weeks ago, we are now officially a vendor. We have a lot of work to do, and we are so grateful to have been picked after one year.
Last, but not least, we are thankful to our vendors for their support and well wishes throughout our transition and temporary closure. Partnerships are important to us, and we are grateful to work with amazing hardworking professionals. We look forward to having our reps visiting us soon at our new location.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Don’t forget to be kind and thank those around you. It doesn’t cost you anything, but it means a lot to those who need it, and those who rarely hear it.
]]>That morning is still vivid in our minds, as we are reminded of the tragic events that took place. Although we are unable to change what happened that day, we can, however, honor and remember all the lives of those we lost on September 11, 2001.
The September 11 attacks were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks by al-Queda against the United States. 9/11 is the deadliest terrorist attack resulting in over 25,000 injuries and nearly 3000 fatalities. We will never forget.

]]>"IT ALL STARTED WHEN…
Janet and Albie Longueria wanted to create a fundraiser Classic Car Show for the American Cancer Society’s “Relay For Life”. That was May of 2009. There were no occupied stores in the Auburn Plaza in that first year but the show still drew 26 beautiful cars - it rained! - but the show still made a profit for the ACS. Trophies were hand made from used car parts and everyone had a great time!.." (Mel's Diner)
